First Look- Ironhide Ironhide returns this year in the same way as last year. Many people people complained about him being so black last year, and the offroad ironhide was much better. Not he returns in a Militia style GMC Topkick, same as last year, but the guns from the underside are now mounted on the back. I'm not sure if this option was available on last year's Ironhide, as I have yet to get a copy or two of him. Gray is certainly a better color, but I still can't get over the fact that this is ironhide, as I keep thinking about the Energon Ironhide. I just love the autobot symbol with the militia cap on the side, it's a great print. Other than that, there's not much to say about the pic. His robot mode is the same as last years, but now you can make out the details. No doubt this will end up in my hands.

First Look- Starsceam I must say, the new starscream is great. Let's start with his vehical mode. It is significantly better than the Starscream of 2007. To start, it has tons of awesome new marking, undoubtedly showing his significance when he took his reign over the Decepticons. The extra baggage that was under the original starscream is gone, and it is now much sleeker. The nly downside, is that his head is apparent at the back. But, if you flip it around, it doesn't look as bad.
Starscream's robot mode is smaller, and more detailed than 2007. The proportions are okay, the legs look less awkward than 2007. It's a great transformation, and very fun as well. It's good to finally have the claws as opposed the guns like in 2007.
In the end, I can't wait to get a copy of him for myself, as opposed to getting a quick look over the prototype from toy fair. |   |
